December 6th..nineteen days til Santa!! Ohh..I better get busy on the cards, huh?
Our elk came in to the feedground today...or at least enough to look like an elk feedground! We counted 171. I counted a dozen branch antlered bulls. A strange phenomena..we are hardly seeing any deer. Past years we've seen anywhere between 50 to 200 head daily. We saw 5 head today..one nice buck...3 yesterday...none the day before. We did see 2 wolves where we ususally see deer. Suppose that has anything to do with it????
Bob has been called to the airport to plow snow. He loves doing that. Dell and I are hanging out this afternoon, wrapping Xmas, and pigging out on chocolate! (Just kidding on the chocolate!)

Wow! in three days your elk herd has increased from 11 to 171! And I think the chocolate sounds wonderful, but not for Dell!
