The Pinedale Airport

Early this morning, Bob was  plowing at the airport.  His loader tractor has a radio that he gets the airport transmissions.  A voice came on saying "Boeing #......." to the Pinedale Airport.  Bob waited, and no one answered, as no one was at the airport then.  He finally came on and said "This is the snowplow at the Pinedale airport, can I help you.  Do you need to land."  The boeing pilot answered "No, we're just flying overhead, and I thought I'd check in and say hi".  We are imagining him telling his wife about the snowplow answering his call to the Pinedale airport.

Flying late yesterday

I didn't get any very good pictures..but this is looking up the New Fork River to the lakes...it was gorgeous...and really smooth.  Visited with Dave Reed who had just returned from his daily flight.  He reported "It is really nice up there!"  He's right.
