Box R Auction

My purchases at the auction.  These are for friends we rode with last spring, who had previously spent four springs at Irv's riding the drift.  They contacted Charles Price, offering to ride for them.  Their intentions were to motel it..but nothing doing, they wound up staying with Prices, eating DeeAnn's wonderful cooking and riding for two weeks.  I think they plan to come next year for a week.  Anyhow, they don't want me to mail this...saying they'll pick it up in the spring.  They called me and asked me to buy them something.
The auction was a good one.  Many old timers were there, and we enjoyed visiting with people we hadn't seen in decades.

I have had a glitch with my blogger, and couldn't get into my account.  It kept telling me I had signed out a different place and did I want to resign back in.  I'd say yes, but it would just retell me the same message.  Meanwhile, I was also having internet problems...which I decided was my modem.  I spent hours with centurylink on the phone..yes...American citizens who spoke well...I understood perfectly, and who led me through much stuff, but nothing worked.  Yesterday I took my old modem in and said I wanted a new one.  Graciously, they gave me one.  I set it up..and waalaa, I had super fast internet.  But, I couldn't get the wifi to work on the ipads.  Grrrr.Talked to the guy in the office, who had me call centurylink help, and come to find out the new modems don't like apple products.  Not to worry you just download firmware update, and it'll all be happy.  However, I could not get it to work.  Fast forward to this morning.  No internet at all.
I called them and two guys were out here...checking inside and out.  It was wire problems coming across the New Fork River.  Apparently I got the firmware downloaded because it was there when the internet finally came back on.  Everything is working.
