Monday, Katie and I had quite a day out at the well site. We were busy gals in the storm. Meanwhile, Bob was plowing at the airport. On his way out to replace me, he came across a wreck, and was stopped. A cement truck had overturned...stopping all southbound traffic. He and Jean (the other guy who was to come on shift) backtracked, and came out via 351 and Jonah North road. I came home more or less the same way.
Fast forward to Thursday. We had the UGRCA annual meeting yesterday. Not much earthshaking went on...but it is always fun to see everyone. Phil came up from Salt Lake. All of our riders were there except Todd, who didn't get notified about it. It was agreed he wouldn't have showed up anyhow...
Last night we went to the Peak Dinner put on by Mary Ann Almquist and her class of Peak kids. It was an outstanding barbequed beef dinner. Then the reading of the projects was wonderful. Megan! What a gal! She did hers on legends of the Ninimbys. She incorporated Sally, Susan and Gina into her story, and it was a hoot! It was enjoyed by all. Bailey Lozier did hers about picnicing at Willow Lake with her grandpa! Been there too! They were all great, but those two gals were the most meaningful to me.
Last...the horse picture is because I loved the shadows...looks like lots of horses in the corral.
