Yesterday we cowboyed with Albert and Dino all day, mostly working yearling. The wind was a cuss all day, and we were worn out by evening.
We saddled up early this morning at O'dark-thirty, and were at Sommers' by six. We moved their yearlings and Prices' to the Mesa. It was a seven hour day horseback. The wind wasn't as bad today. We rode two of Shorty's horses both days, and today when we got home they were dead meat. I'm sore today too, but I'll toughen up!

Another busy day.
We met Jim at the airport this morning under a 5000 foot ceiling, and he took me for another flying lesson. I felt way more at ease today. It's probably my last lesson until winter...but it was good to get it under my belt. Many thanx Jim!
Bob almost has my chinks done. They are darned nice! He's done a great job. I got my car from Ryan for a couple of days until more parts come in. Got some much needed grocery shopping done..delivered Sally's tv to Robyn and Greg. Stopped and visited Susie a little while. Bob got some more association stuff done. We went to an association meeting with the Game and Fish about counting grizzly bears on the upper Green. Basically it was to be informative on knowing what you are observing. I think I have better pictures than they do. Well, maybe! :)

A Neat Day!
We went out to the airport at nine and took Jim’s plane for a little over an hour. We flew up the river and over camp and around. Still lots of snow up there. It was a neat day to fly, and good to be up!
Then we headed for Betty’s to leave Brent’s check, and met Michael walking down the road, so we gave him a ride to his tractor and drag. He’d taken the four wheeler to another field. We took Brent’s check and left it there as they were not home.
We went to David’s baptism into the LDS church at twelve thirty. It was quite a ceremony. It was neat that we were warmly welcomed by everyone.
Then we loaded the horse trailer with hay and took it to the cow camp on the Mesa. We got home about five. We cleaned up again, and went to the Stockman’s for dinner. It’s been a grand day.
