David's mural

Well, another going, going, gone! Ridley's made David come get the mural. Darn! There was no good way to photograph this...but anyone who has seen it, will recognize it. We're rained out for a while this morning, so I'm playing catchup with laundry, shopping, and bookeeping.

We're haying!

Bob is replacing a rake tooth....seems like that's a daily occurrence. Michael is mowing with his new double mower. When Bob and I are out there on the old ones, and Michael's using that one...we flat mow down some hay. The tractor I mow with is an old Ford that doesn't even have power steering. As I say that, it's actually a pretty nice mowing tractor.
Meanwhile, the baler tractor that Michael leased for me to use, had eight minutes on it when we started. It's sweet! Push button gears...air conditioning...windshield washers..and on and on!
The best thing that will be happening here is no news....haying will be going good..no breakdowns, and we'll finish in several weeks. So cheers til you hear from me again!
