Thad's buffalo!

Hunting buffalo can get western.

The buffalo hunters..

Thad, Troy, Rob and Nate hoved in from Cheyenne last night.

Troy is cooking our breakfast. They head to Jackson today to get the buffalo hunt squared away.

Ride up Half Moon Mountain

Looking south at the end of Half Moon Lake and across to Burnt Lake..

Up on top...barely got hit by a shower..just enough to make us get our rain coats out. Saw lightening in the valley and thought this is a bad place to be in a lightening storm.

I took this to show how healthy these trees are despite the elk damage on the trunks. Elk must winter up here ...the trunks of every tree are knawed and scarred...but look at the color.

These quakies are the same on their trunks....but I thought they were gorgeous. Didn't do anything to these photos...they are just downloaded from my camera.

Another quaky shot on top of Half Moon Mountain.. the sky was gorgeous too.

Ride out of Kelly Park

Gorgeous ride today! We rode out of Kelly Park and up Fortification Mountain a d ate lunch at the top of the ski hill! It was lovely.

Somehow the iPad posted the pictures the way it wanted to. I too need to learn more about this.

Charm sent pictures

Charm sent some pictures...I think this was when they came out of hunting camp yesterday. Could have been going in several days ago too. Anyhow her "color" pictures were really good.
