We started the day with breakfast at Peggy Sue's. Loved that breakfast. Then
we drove out to Falling Man Petroglyphs.. I love this type of country.
This is just a shot out of the car as we are traveling along on a "paved road". It was paved, but not exactly a speedway. We were in Betty's caddy...
I'm not posting a bunch of these..even though they were the whole purpose of going. Maybe later. They were everywhere, and Betty said every time they go out, they find different ones. They are truley amazing. You've probably seen pictures of all of them on Judi's blog.
Mostly I want this to show what a neat day we had.
Oscar wouldn't drink. When we got back to the car he was so thirsty. Speedy loved the little water pockets.
We drove miles out to the Gold Butte Ghost Town. Betty is checking out some of the smoke spots where some of the legends have it that the Indians did some rituals there. There were some neat little pockets in the rocks where you could see a lot of smoke.
This must have been their water source.

Wine time when we got back! Later we went to the Eureka and gambled and had dinner. It was a full, and fun day. The next day we kicked around town. We did some shopping, lunch at the...as I write this I can't think of the name, and I've asked Betty twice...but it's a sports bar. We gambled as we ate. I loved it. Then we had pedicures, treats from Sara. It was a new experience for me, but it was awesome. My feet still feel soft and nice. We planned to bowl, but the bowling ally was full, thanks to a soccer tournament that was in town. We went to the house, had some wine, and almost crashed. We had Mexican food, and then crashed. Yesterday morning we were up, packing, Betty was cleaning, and we left about 8:00 a.m. Mesquite time. We rolled into Pinedale about five Pinedale time. Bob took me to the Stockman's for dinner, where Betty and Brent were eating. So we had fun eating with them. Kip and Bonnie Alexander were there with family and friends, and we had a long visit with them afterwards. That was a trip down memory lane.
