This winter!

I've gotten re-hooked on an old addiction!  Genealogy!
It's all Michael's fault.  He was asking questions about the Klarens, and I got on the internet.  Then subscribed to Ancestry.com.  What a tool.  In the 1970s I wrote hundreds of letters to relatives, court houses, the archives in Washington D.C., cemeterys all over the country and more.  We did much traveling, which was great, for sure.  But the internet is an awesome tool for finding out about your ancesters.  It's a trip.

Ancestry.com sure makes for a nice looking chart.....after you put in all the data & photos, of course.
Yes, I'm sure the internet makes it much easier than 30 years ago.

My mother traced the Marlatt family without the Internet. Countless hours of writing letters, lots of money spent on postage and phone calls. She would have loved the Internet.
