We brought the horses home today...Bob and the Cat are getting their hay. Chaco is getting a drink as I have a hose in the tank filling it. He didn't drink much..I think he was making sure there would be water. Toots is eating snow, which she always does when we bring them in. They have a full tank of warm water.
I rode Toots out to the road bareback leading Snip. It wasn't very far, but it was good to be on a horse. Bob led Chaco and carried the salt block. (I had the easy part!)

Love the pony pics. I'll bet Chaco WAS making sure he remembered where to get his water. Good boy!
Our ponies had frost at the base of their tails this morning. Also, I'm noticing that the white hairs on their faces are shedding. Whenever I pet them there, I come away with a gloveful of white.
