Yesterday morning Bob finished shoing Toots...and we took off for a ride up Rock Creek. We were horseback about 8 hours.
We got caught in a heck of a storm..this doesn't begin to show the hail storm..although you can see the hail bouncing of my mare's neck. Bob said "We need to get our rain coats on"....and if we had waited one minute, we would have been drenched. A wall of hard rain and then hail hit us. We got under some trees trying to lessen the hail on the horses. Also very close lightening and thunder. Then when it was gone after about a half an hour, it was gone. I was kind of a wreck by the time we got to the trailer. We had dinner at The Place with John and Lucy Fandek. We had a delightful visit with them. It was a great day.
