Nov 17th..Thurs. We met with the Game and Fish today about our roll in the brucellosis testing program at our feedground. They'll tranquilize about 40 to 50 head of our cow elk, and implant a radio in their vaginas..oh yes! We'll use a telementry to determine if any have been sloughed during the winter, and let the Game and Fish know. This is suppose to happen if they loose a calf, or at a later date when they actually calve. It's the getting them implanted that is going to cause utter chaos at our feedground.
