Barb Pape needed a Bronx postmark for a museum in Bronx NY. I guess I have the only one locally, which I got doing genealogy in Hepler Kansas. Something I thought was really interesting...look at the time frame. In 1909 this was mailed from Bronx Wyoming on December 24th and arrived in Hepler Kansas five days later. In 1909. Amazing. One hundred and two years ago.
Sara and Betty are painting Scott and Sara's kitchen. Sara is replacing the brass hinges with peuter ones to match the handles. Betty has some really cute one of Sara painting around the edges yesterday. Scott was totally not nice to me playing crib today...
Hank came over to tell Larry and Lenora goodbye....Hank needed...hear that...needed to get back to watch the football game. Hope he relaxed watching the game. Luv these guys...
Up at o’dark thirty….breakfast..saddled six degrees…at Sommer’s by eight. It was a nice day for a cattle drive..with one of DeeAnn’s priceless dinners at the end. Larry and Lenora Ruland are here. It’s good to seem them…tomorrow will be sad. I had my camera with me, but didn't use it. Ummmmm.
I was presented my fifty year certificate last night at Star. It was Grand Visitation, and a neat night. Bridge in Big Piney in the afternoon. It was a full day.
