Soccer Game Tues night

Spectator shots...David, Bob and MIchael Klaren. And in the far back, Kirsten is the blonde girl waiting to on the field. Donna Cox, Jennifer's mom is the blue arm in the lower left corner. I should have incuded her in the shot.

I did get this shot with my camera. It's un altered. I posted it here because Charm doesn't see what I put on fb.

Playing catch up...I should have posted some of these as they happened.

Our local civil air patrol, which Bob is a member, had a SAREX which is a training exercise here this last weekend. This is Ed Decastro, a pilot instructor who lives in Rock Springs.  He stayed with us this weekend, and was interesting company..I enjoyed him.

This is a photo Carrie Whitman took of some of us in Marbelton.  We were there for bridge, and the photo is pretty good of us all, including Becky Thompson and Sue Hoefer who are in the back. The front are me, Margaret Mickelson and Ellen Reed.

Another day we were invited to Jackson as Mardell Fear's guests for lunch and bridge. We were celebrating Mardell's 94th birthday a week late with her old entire bridge club. She loved it. We had a chance to visit with Betty Lou McLoughlin who is here talking to Becky Thompson. I loved seeing Betty Lou.

This photo turned out pretty well...still the Jackson day, so I'm posting it too. Kathy Pompey, Pat Schueler, Bonnie Budd and Kay Robinson.

Another day Bob got a sos from Palmer to come weld a part on the stacker. I guess Michael had tried to reach Brent, and not getting him, Bob was second choice. This was the discussion on how do we get this off.

Well, he got it off, and here he's setting it up. They finished haying the other day, and the weld was still holding as far as we know.

Probably everyone has seen most of these photos on fb..which is easier to post them on, but I still kind of like my blog as a running journal.

Texas Pape 60th b.d.

Sally requested this photo.  After a search..you might know I have a lot of pictures, I found it. This was taken by Ruth Wilson, in her house of Mother on her 60th birthday.  She put a 60 watt light bulb in the cake. They had a great party that night. This is also a good picture of Daddy!  And today is Mother's birthday. I had a brain fart the other day!!!

My mother's 101 birthday!

 This photo of my parents was taken by a school teacher, Betty Tank in either 1949 or 1950.

This photo was taken by me at a wedding at Fort William in the mid seventies. She was telling me, "Don't take that picture". I've always really liked it.

I'm way behind on my blog.  I don't want to hang it up..so I need to do some catching up. I'll try to be a better blogger.

This was such a neat plane, and it turned out it belonged to and was flown in by Charm McLellan's cousin. I ached she wasn't there with Jim.

Yesterday was Bob's birthday. We celebrated with his boys at the town park.

We got burgers at the Sugar Shack and they were awesome. It was a fun evening.

Father's Day

We had plans to meet Bob's boys at Kendall Valley Lodge. So we drove up a little early and went up past the end of the oil til we met Kent Price with his crew...which we should be part there of!!! They'd had a fairly easy day..and the day is gorgeous beyond everything, so they were riding back. We had a neat visit.

Coke Landers and his crew were also meeting at KVL for the Father's day brunch, so I took this. You can barely see Molly on the right. Mike Beard is at the end of the table visiting with Michael.

Here you can see Kirsten, David, Michael, Jennifer and Vivie. The meal was awesome, and the get together was really great.
