Yesterday

This was David's mural last night after dinner at the Stockman's.  It's definately changing. Looking good.

We were up a little after four yesterday morning..A hearty breakfast, catching our horses by moon light...yeah..I could actually see Toots in the corral..and meeting Price's at 6:00 a.m. at their turnoff on 191.  (It's the turn off that goes to the Daniel cemetery too!)  It's a long drive up to their sections on Little Cottonwood and Beacher Creek.  It was so gorgeous up there.  If you enlarge the picture of Bob, you'll see the huge moon too.

A few of the cattle we had to gather coming over the ridge.  The gather was easy..it just takes two riders on either side of the creek..The creek goes right down through the middle of their place, and it's really steep on either side.  There is some heavy timber that is impossible to ride in.  We saw lots of elk tracks, but no elk.  Probably saw a hundred antelope though.  We spent the afternoon in the hay field.  It was a long day..but a good one.  Dinner at the Stockmans...then I crashed.

David's mural update

It's hard to catch this mural without someone/thing in the way.  But you get the idea.

For Duene

We flew this morning and I liked this of Fremont Peak.

David has his mural outlined now.  It looks better than this photo shows.
We're headed to the hay field.  Michael had a rain yesterday that included hail, which we did not get.

The mural and haying...

This is David's mural in progress.  The light spots top left are from the sun coming up through the trees.

Something happened to the clutch on the bale wagon.  Supposed to be working this morning.  We'll see.  I'm actually amazed it's gone this long.

The gorgeous mural!

It's signed...but maybe not completely finished.

David and Bob admiring it...and discussing David's that is in progress.

Wanted to do a closeup of this guy.  His tail isn't quite finished.

David's Mural!

This will be totally different than Charm's, and just as beautiful.

I keep thinking if I hang out with my artist friends..will it rub off!

Yesterday..

Love this of Charm with her mural.

Charm's supplies.

We went out to Sommer's Homestead's open house.  Wonderful meal, and interesting people to visit.

Later I ran out ot Betty's with Allen Reeds stones he had polished.  I thought they needed wire wrapped by Betty, and she did an awesome job.  She's an artist with that stuff.

So then I took them to Reeds.  This one is gorgeous on a gorgeous lady.

And then I took Reeds out to Betty's where of course, the conversation turned to rocks!  Neat day.
Bob's coming down with a cold and feels lousy.  Rained last night, so no haying again today.
