The Cat and Kizzie

Cheeney's showed up last night and picked up Kiz.  The Cat howled for an hour..his bud was gone.  The Cheeney's had a grand time..and it was good to see them.

Yesterday and today!

The Cat and Kizzy aren't sure about the new snow.  They're both holding down the couch.  Bob measured it out by the garage when he left to plow this morning.  6"

We had a cow moose just out beyond the corral this morning, and three bulls.  Then a couple of deer came bounching along, no pictures..

Then Carolyn Bing and I hosted Sublette Co Artists' Guild at the GRB.  We had a great turn out, and a lot of interersting writings and art presented.  It was good.

 

 

A reunion of sorts

Last spring while riding the drift, Kathy Wipfler, pictured above rode up to me and said, "You must be Gina."  I was amazed, as I was clueless as to who she was.  Charm McLellan was her friend, and she'd read my blog.  We had such a nice visit that day.
Well, it came to light...that we had other mutual friends..Amie Reynolds Richmond and Gerrie Richmond.  Her friend, Larry Feuz guided Gerrie before he and Amie were even married and then later with Amie along too.  He was interested in learning more about Amie's earlier life.  We met today to fill in a few blanks. Later Bob guided Amie and Gerrie on his geology trips for twelve years, through the Wind Rivers.  Larry had taken them into Yellowstone Park.

It was great fun for Bob and me..and I hope it happens again.  Bob and Larry had a few laughs about guiding Gerrie...Jim McLellan joined us for a while, and we had more laughs.  That's what friends are all about.
I should mention, Kathy is a heck of an artist too.  Google her name and you'll come up with her web site.  That's a cop-out I know..but I can't remember the full site name off hand.

Flying this morning..

We left as it got good and light.

We had the herd gathered when the sun came up.  They traveled well.
