Tuesday

I picked up Nancy and Tana at Betty and Brent's early this morning.  We got groceries, and went home to put them away.  Then we went to the Museum.  Later we went to Fremont Lake and hung out at Sandy Beach.  We were to meet Betty and Sara at Half Moon Lake for lunch.  We drove up Skyline and glassed to see the guys out fishing.  We met up with Betty and Sara, drove to the lodge only to find out they weren't open.  Turned out Jennie and her mom Sherry were coming too.  We went to Fremont Lake and sat on the deck.  We got rained in..but still had a neat lunch.

After lunch the Eberhardt gals and I drove up to Little Half Moon Lake.  The flowers were gorgeous as was the lake.

Love this of Tana.

The dogs had a lot of fun swimming in the lake.

We were only home a short time, when Betty called about hot dogs at Willow Lake.  So Bob hurried with his ditch, and we went up there.

Scott and Sara's wonderful wedding!

We drove out to Amerine's early for family pictures.

Bob shot a few with my camera while the official ones were being taken.

Including this shot with my good looking grandson!

This is during the ceremony, which was unique and perfect!

After their ceremony, the wedding party boarded John Wayne's wagon and they left for about an hour ride with champagne to drink and toasts to make.

Meanwhile we still did some photo shoots.  This is your's truly with my beautiful granddaughter.

This is the wedding party arriving..I love this picture!

Couple of neat cowboys standing around...Bob, Rocky and Mart!

There was no way to photograph the crowd..and even guess how many people were there.

Jason did the groom's toast, of course, and presented Scott with this blanket.  He knew he had to reach to out do the toast Scott did at his wedding in 2010.

The band was from Laramie..Scott went to school with them at UW.
Betty and Carol remembering Betty and Brent's wedding...

And I just love this photo!

The Rehearsal!

If the wedding is half as much fun as the rehearsal, it'll be nothing short of wonderful.  I think there were two groomsmen who weren't there..and I can't name them all.

The wedding party..at the hitching wrack..no pun intended!

Flight to Ft. Bridger

Bob had to fly to Ft Bridger early this morning to pick someone up.
I rode along.  It was interesting flying over Fontenelle.

The Ft. Bridger airport out the back window as we were taxiing out to the runway.
I was supposed to help Jonita Sommers in her living museum today, however I'm having an issue with the wheel barings on my car.  The parts they got wouldn't work, so they had to order some from Ford, which didn't get here until a little afternoon today.  Bob was tied up with this flight, so I opted out of helping Jonita and flew down with him.  Talked to Ryan and as we speek, my car is being repaired.
When we got home, the old wagon was gone!  Not an issue.  It's being used at the wedding Saturday.  Pleased about that.  Scott's crew picked it up.

Spencer Davis

This Big Piney guy, who is a welder and a cowboy, also makes and refurbishes cowboy hats.  Here he is putting finishing touches on the shape of Bob's "old" hat that now looks new.  He has an interesting little business there with a lot of old antique tools and machines.  Not too long ago he found out that his grandfather in Evenston used to do the same thing.

Getting the Car out.

We were caught with the car in at the ranch when we got quite a storm in the early fall.  My dad is up by the car, and Cash Sloat is on the sled.

Mosquitoe Lake pastures

After a neat lunch at the Place, we drove up the Union Pass road.  We visited with Bubba, spied on Snooks' old place, and didn't drive into the cow camp.  These pictures look across the north west pasture toward our old camp.
At the Place, Bev and Dwight Dibben came in and sat with us.  We had an interesting and enjoyable visit with them.

My old Willow Creek home

I'm doing some organizing of my photos on the computer, which are terribly "unwieldie", and thought it would be fun to post this.  It was taken in the 1960's.
