Metal Clay Class

We were scattered around the art room in the Big Piney school.  This is Sharon Schell, her daughter in law who I can't remember her name for the life of me, and Sharon's daughter, Ami Davison.
Sharon Johnson and I had this table...a couple of Big Piney ladies in the back.
Sandy Bousman is here...Laurel was off buffing a piece or something..
My stuff............
This class was a lot of fun.  Don't know if I'll pursue it or not...but I brought home some pieces that I hope in work in with the fabricating that I do with silver.  Note to self...probably won't do a lot of silver.  Most of the silver I've bought to fabricate was under $4.00 an ounce.  Now it's almost $50.00 an ounce...and my supplies are running short.

Benny and Pat

This is from Jep's b.d. party Saturday. I got quite a few good people photos that day. Notice Pattie's fingers!! Horns for Benny!
Snowbird friends returning today. I haven't walked down the road to see if Hank and Deb are here. I expect when they hove in, they'll set up and then go see Helen. They'll hate the weather..Deb will have trouble breathing...but it will get better. Just when is the question.
Bob and I had lunch with Rita at the Brew Pub yesterday. It was soooo good. Got cut kinda short when Bob's X walked in and sat down near us. Then hang up phone calls in the afternoon. Don't know for sure who that was..........
When I walked this morning, the blue birds were building nests in the houses out along the road, that I think Les Burrough put up. Thirty antelope came up from the river...deer on the hill. Two days ago we had a moose out here. The cranes and geese still have the Cat "yarded up".
Got a neat pair of shoes Nanc ordered for our trip. I'm being spoiled. Jane sent 2 goodie packages...I should do a picture of them....
Vacant house down the road....neighbors lost it...and I'm sad about that. I liked having them here.
Finished another book on the ipad. It wasn't as good as "Water for Elephants", but I enjoyed it anyhow.
Bob's working on Hagenstein's ditch when he's not working for Stepps. He's busy.
Brent stopped by with dog food for Kiz while they're gone to Mexico. We enjoy Kiz! I'll also be doing S&S chores.

April birthdays...well, some of them...

I did take a picture of Betty and Brent when we were at the Stockman's celebrating her birthday. It isn't good enough to post. Then last night I forgot my camera...how could that be???...for Jennifer and Michael's birthdays...
Both nights were a pleasure. Wednesday night we almost had the place to ourselves. Last night there was some Catholic church thing...and we were in the back, thankfully, but it was roaring through the wall. We were glad to be where we were.
Late in the afternoon, Hank and Debbie stopped by. I'm still feeling bad that we were in a time crunch. I had to feed S&S livestock before we met Michael et al. I'm wishing I could have had Deb and Hank stay for dinner. Another time.
The weather sure turned for Rulands. After they leave maybe we'll get spring.

The Jackson Hill Climb

Jim McLellan begins his run in the Master's leg of the Jackson hill climb. The Master's are the old timers...ie..over fifty. Charm and I drove up there to watch him make the run.
He pulled a big leg muscle on the jump, and didn't make it the whole way. Jim's on his feet...if not too steady, and the machine has a bent ski. I should add, Jim is the oldest in the climb, and pays his entry with his social security check.
All the local guys helping to load the injured machine.
Brent and Betty watching the Master's leg..
Sheep along the road on our way home.
