The falls in Idaho Falls & Kirsten at her dance recital...

Bob had cataract surgery last week in Idaho Falls. The 2nd one is scheduled for tomorrow. Loved the look of the falls in the winter by the motel where we stay.

Kirsten was in the dance recital Friday night. This was greeting Grandpa Bob afterwards...

New Year's Day Frost

Today has been a cold, windy, gorgeous New Year's Day. This is the frost on our south window.

Earlier...that would be last year....I scanned old pictures and mostly slides for my girls and put them on cds. This snow scene from the ranch in 1972 seemed like a good one to post today. Jane, Betty and Nancy are on the new snowmachine!

Christmas day at our house!

I'm just up and showered...Bob's been out and driving for HOURS...and the light and frost is gorgeous.

Bob's back, Sara and Scotty came for breakfast after a couple of domestic issues...frozen down trash the dogs could get to...being a home owner is fun, huh Scott???

And then opening packages...it was really cool having them come! Thanx guys...

We had an enjoyable time visiting and drinking and eating and visiting and drinking and EATING!!!

Snow!

Bob's out shoveling and plowing around the place. And starting snowmachines. We're headed to McLellan's for Charm's winter solstice party aka her birthday. Jim just called to alert us we may need the snowmachines to get there. I'm hoping so. I found the helmets and snowpants. The Cat's wanting green grass and whining loudly. I'm thinking we got about four inches last night...since I did steaks on the grill. I had a pretty good path to the grill.
