Cattle crossing Pot Creek...Toots is watching them string across on the other side...
Kent Price, Bob Klaren, and Nickie Marincic. Gorgeous ride today. Some of Irv's people were with us. One of them took a picture of a calf with his head stuck between two trees. Hope someone forwards me that photo.
Charles Price.
Kent getting his email on the range! Some things stay the same, and some things don't!
Gathering stuff off the Mickey Adam's dugway and hill.
Cattle drifting through the underpass...
The stopping point for our stuff...which we estimated about eight hundred head, is Lone Pine. A delightful day to be out. Not hot or cold. Soft breeze. Cattle moved easily. Toots never turned a hair.
Brian et al are headed to Alaska. Bob babysat while they got ready for a garage sale, and then the next day during the garage sale. They are buds....
And then we went to Johnson's for a wonderful lake trout dinner.
He took his shoeing tools to trim Henry. Bob's 6 foot 4, and Henry comes about to his knees. Poor Henry wound up lame..but he'll get better. His poor little foot was a mess.
I didn't get home with any pictures that really show their home from the outside. These were taken from the bay in the boat. Note the tents for the party. The trailer is a portable outhouse for the party. The home extends behind the whole picture. It has all sorts of wings. West wing, east wing, north wing.
I'll post more pix...just a note that I'm home. Sorta draggin' today. Washing clothes. We are getting the horses in so we can help Charles Price take their cattle to the mountains. We'll be part time riders..
Friday I play bridge in Big Piney...otherwise I'll probably be riding.
