Happy Birthday Tana!
Tana is ten today. Where has the time gone? They're having winter in Cheyenne. -10 and 25 mile an hour winds and snowing. We have the minus ten...but no wind. How lucky is that? I'm helping Michael at Kip's again today. Bob's at the airport. Looking at the Utah weather, I wonder how the roads will be for Kip and Bonnie coming home. We've enjoyed the National Finals a lot this year. ESPN showed it at eight p.m. instead of sooo late.

Feeding with Michael and Palmer's art!
Michael is feeding for Kip while they are at National Finals. Bob is helping Michael, except Tuesday it had snowed, so Bob was plowing. I was the next helper in line. It was fun to be out there.
Later in the day Palmer came for his art lesson. That's always more fun for me than him, I think. However, this day, The Cat decided to be in charge. He sat there with Palmer the whole time.
Charm hosted bridge here yesterday. We all had a great time. I'd gone after Betty K. just to make life easier for her. That turned into sort of a nightmare, because the battery died on my car. I suppose it's left over from the problems I had enroute to Arizona. Anyhow, the battery turned out to be charged, the car just wasn't getting that charge to the key. Bob changed batterys, screwed the keepers down hard, and it works. When he put the old battery on the charger, it was charged. It's ever thus, I guess.

Bob's getting the horses ready for winter.
We caught the horses and Bob pulled shoes and trimmed feet. I posted this one of him with Toots, because it shows what a little grouch she is. I swear she spends most of her life with her ears back.
This is for Lynn. Nube is getting her shoes off too. No grouch here!!! We took them all down to Michael's. Later we'll bring one or two to the house for the winter.

More shots of our Thanksgiving trip to Laramie
We are showing off the quilts we made. Jane and Scott have friends who adopted two Russian children, one three and one two. Jane wanted to do this for them.
I did the cutting out and snipping the fringe.

Jane did all of the sewing. You can see one of the quilts layed out on the floor to be put together.
We were invited to Bob and Leslie Zorko's for dinner Friday night. Bob and I went to Wasatch together. We had a wonderful evening...she did an awesome dinner for us. Bob had "our" gin and rum on hand. Can't believe he remembers what we drink. Anyhow, it was good and fun. Loved being in their home and seeing their treasures. Thank you guys! Also, we called Barry N. in Colorado and hasseled him that he wasn't with us!!!
Betty and Brent and Scott and Jace got back from their cruise Sunday night, actually Monday morning, really early. Betty is showing us pictures of swimming with the dophins etc. Sounds like they had a wonderful time.
The tour throu Keystone was a hoot. Had to post a couple of phots from there. If you click on them to enlarge them, you'll get a laugh.
More Keystone.
The plane in the hanger in Laramie.
We left Laramie about eight a.m. Monday. The wind wasn't bad. As we headed north to north east, the winds aloft increased measurably. We were being passed on the ground by traffic on 30. Bob was nervous we didn't have enough fuel to get home at that rate. The cloud bank around us looked threatening, and we turned around and headed back to Laramie. I don't think Scott believed me when I called and told him we were on the ground, in Laramie. He did, however, come out and get us. Bob checked the weather much more for a couple of hours, and then he and George Twitchell flew the plane, and I drove George's truck to Pinedale. We all battled headwinds, but they did fine, and so did I. George managed to make it a worthwhile trip, by going to Jackson the next morning...that would be yesterday...and getting his flight physical. He turned around and drove to Laramie last night. He did some driving...

Also Bob and Leslie Zorko came over last night. We had such a great visit..it was neat to meet her. She's a lovely lady....

Come on Aunt Jane...we're ready!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm on Jane's computer...and these are a couple of photos I took on the flight down yesterday. This is the windmill farm at Arlington.
And this is going by Elk Mountain.
Hope everyone is having a neat day today! Jane's been busy since early this morning. Scott's coming in from running the train last night. We got a little snow this morning. Bob's on on his computer and phone, and it didn't snow at Pinedale. When we flew into Laramie yesterday morning, the guy there told me we were to have light snow here for the next several days. George Twitchell met us and drove us to Jane's. As we were standing in the driveway, Bob Zorko drove up to make sure we could get in the house. I loved that!!! Hopefully we'll spend a little time with them! We are hoping to go to Fox Park to Jane's cabin tomorrow!!!
